Where crying over spilled milk is totally allowed, and plus ones under the age of one are more than welcome. This Mother’s Day, we conceived the idea for a space that welcomes moms without compromise. A guilt-free escape from home, with the comforts of fancy mocktails, lactation experts, and the beautiful tapestry of Los Angeles Motherhood. Plus, people won’t stare when you whip out a titty. We’ve all got ‘em.

birthFUND is a nationwide movement to address the U.S. maternal mortality crisis by expanding access to safe, life-affirming midwifery care. By matching funders with families in need, birthFUND is saving lives and building healthier futures—one birth at a time.
birthFUND was founded in April 2024 by Elaine Welteroth in collaboration with The Victoria Project (TVP) and Birth Center Equity (BCE), along with the support of founding family funders including Serena Williams, Chrissy Teigen, John Legend, Kelly Rowland, Karlie Kloss, Ashley Graham, and more.
In under a year, birthFUND has raised over $3 million, supported 54 families, and welcomed 55 babies.
